Park Place Closure

As I'm sure you are aware, our Governor placed Florida under a Safer At Home order on Thursday, April 2nd. This order does not allow Stylists to perform salon services. Honestly, this mandate came later than I was expecting. The decision to keep taking clients each day was weighing heavily. I would never want to put our clients in harm's way nor would I ever want to be a catalyst for spreading this virus. These are difficult and stressful times for everyone and I hope to extend and receive grace regarding future appointments.

Speaking of future appointments! Obviously, all appointments for the month of April have been postponed. As the end of April nears, we will be contacting each of you to reschedule your postponed appointment. We will be working very hard, as a team, to get all of our fabulous clients taken care of. With that being said, it has occurred to me that IF we are permitted to open in May, we may be working very differently than what we are all used to. New policies and procedures may be in place. I will keep everyone updated as we move closer to that date.

How can we help you? Please visit our website: www.parkplacesalon.expert and checkout our online store. I have added our best-selling products including root concealers. If you do not see an item that you need, please email me and I will be happy to make it happen! After each purchase, you will be contacted by email to set up a time for curbside pick-up.

Staying in touch… It is my hope to pop into your inbox occasionally with some kind words, beauty tips and any updates. Also, you can follow us on Facebook and Instagram as I will be posting updates there as well. Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns. I do not plan on answering the phones at this time, however, I will be checking messages and responding either by phone or email.

Now for the legalities: By law, I am not permitted to manufacture, produce or otherwise sell hair color. This includes hairline and root touch up kits. Please do not ask this of me, as it is just not legal and I am not willing to except the liability. Also, cosmetologists in Florida are not allowed to perform services at a location that does not have a salon license, with the exception of special occasion events. This is true even when not under a Stay At Home order. Please do not contact your stylist directly to ask for a home visit as you would be asking them to put their license at risk and break the law under the current Stay At Home order.

It is with a grateful heart and a humble mind that I wish you all a month of wellness, peace and love. You are all so important to our team at Park Place Salon and we can't wait to get back to making beauty happen soon!

Sincerely,

Brianna Asbury
